Most of the Indian roof terraces are unused and therefore waist room. With an easy to erect non permanent roof out of bamboos it is possible not only to create additional room, but also a recreation center for the whole family, which also can act as a party space or even possibilities to sleep outside in the fresh breeze. In order beautify the plain “chatais’ saris were draped on the ceiling and walls, which provide snug feeling and gives the opportunity to implement Feng Shui by using right the colours for the directions. Lots and lots of cushions, bolsters, mats and the hammock creates a atmosphere of relaxations as soon as you enter the terrace.

The plants act as sight-shelters from outside as well as giving a cooling effect o the place. Additional it provides a lot of nooks and niches for birds to nest; in Feng Shui birds are considered to bring a lot of good opportunities for the residents, so its always good to have them in or on the house!
